** Please expand the description box for itinerary & music details** January 19, 2015 www.instagram.com/timandglo After two days nesting in Manila's shopping malls, we felt well rested and the rain passed. So we decided to venture outside of Manila to Mt. Batulao in Batangas! We highly recommend this hike for nature lovers looking to escape the city for the day! We took a 7:10 am bus bound for Nasugbu from the DLTB Co. hub at the Buendia Bus Terminal on Taft Ave. The buses seem to leave frequently, at least every 30 minutes or so. Be sure to tell the driver you are going to Mt. Batulao and would like to bet off at Evercrest Golf Club (now known as Hillcrest). Bus fare was just 111 pesos per person. We arrived at Evercrest (Hillcrest) around 9:15 and headed toward the jump-off point (o...

After wanting to visit the Philippines for many years now, I finally made it happen. I plan to stay for 15 days, then venture off to another country. Then, I plan to come back after a month and spend another month. At this point in my travels, I have nothing planned, really. I know I want to head North and experience upper Luzon. But who knows what will happen. Only time will tell :) -- Brock http://www.fb.com/edgesofearth http://www.EdgesOfEarth.com https://www.instagram.com/edgesofearth/ Music By: http://www.epidemicsound.com

Not knowing very much about the Philippines before I visited, I was pleasantly surprised by Manila and Subic and how they both reminded me of America. The highlight of the trip was getting a chance to visit a Vietnamese boat people refugee camp near Baataan. I met some friendly Pinoys too. The food was great. The transportation readily available. And the landscape extremely beautiful. There are plenty to see and do as well. -------------------------------------------------- About Me: I'm Kyle Le and I live, travel, and eat in Vietnam and many Asian countries. A brief documentary about Manila, the capital city of the Philippines. Every year, more than 5.5 million tourists take their vacations in the Philippines, and often Manila is their very first stop. Nearly 16 million people live in the Metro Manila area, which is made up of many smaller cities, including Makati, Pasay, Pasig, Paranaque, Mandaluyong, Quezon City, and more. Manila is where big business takes place, where major investments are made, and where residential and commercial real estate is never-ending. Many tourists enjoy the malls, the restaurants, the museums, the nightlife, and even the beautiful Manila Bay. Probably, the biggest tourist attraction is the SM Mall of Asia - the 3rd largest mall in the world. For more details about Manila or the Philippines in general, visit ...

Throughout the area are the floating plantations of the Inthas on which tomatoes, cucumbers and beans are cultivated. A journey on the Sh...
